Join us for an exciting day of one-on-one basketball competition at the Back to School One-on-One Showdown! Whether you’re a Mini Baller, a Junior Hooper, or aiming for the title of High School Hustler, this tournament is your chance to showcase your skills, compete for awesome prizes, and kick off the school year with a win.

• Date: Saturday, September 7, 2024

• Time: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

• Location: The Jungle 215, Bristol, PA

 

Who Can Play:

 

Our tournament is open to boys and girls of all skill levels, divided into three age groups:

 

• Junior Hoopers: Ages 11-12

• Middle School Stars: Ages 13-14

• High School Hustlers: Ages 15-16 

 

What’s at Stake:

 

• Champion: Trophy, Back-to-School Gear, and a $100 Cash Prize

• Runner-Up: Medal and a $50 Cash Prize

• All Participants: Receive a T-shirt

What to Expect:

 

Get ready for a day packed with intense one-on-one matchups, skill challenges, and plenty of opportunities to shine. With divisions for all ages, everyone has a chance to be crowned the champion of their group. Plus, all participants will walk away with awesome prizes and memories that will last long after the school year begins.

 

Tournament Rules:

1. Game Format: • Single-Elimination Bracket for each age division. • Junior Hoopers: Highest score in a 8 minute game). • Middle School Stars & High School Hustlers: Highest score in a 10 minute game.

2. Scoring: • 1 point per basket inside the arc. • 2 points per basket beyond the arc (3-point line).

3. Possession: • Coin toss or rock-paper-scissors to determine first possession. • Winner’s ball after each score (no make-it, take-it).

4. Finals: • Best of 3 series in the final round for each age group.

5. Fouls: • No double dribbling or traveling—enforced by referees. • 3 personal fouls lead to disqualification.

6. Overtime: • Sudden death—first basket wins if the score is tied at the end of regulation time.

7. Sportsmanship: • Good sportsmanship is required at all times. Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in disqualification.

8. Referees’ Decisions: • All referee decisions are final.
